Edward L. Vockell, Ph.D., Professor of Education, teaches graduate courses in educational psychology, education research, and instructional computing. He joined the staff at Purdue Calumet in 1972 after he received his Ph.D. in Educational Research from Purdue University. While at Purdue in West Lafayette, he worked as a Graduate Educational Research Trainee. Other experience includes being an English and Latin teacher in secondary schools.
Dr. Vockell has published numerous books and articles in professional journals. His major research interest is finding ways in which the computer can help teachers teach more effectively, including Educational Research, The Computer in the Classroom, Educational Psychology, and The Computer in the Curriculum series.
