(Summary to be added.)
Developmental psychology is a very broad field, and this book cannot possibly cover all the principles of human development that would be of interest to educators. A good understanding of such topics as language development, personality development, and the characteristics of children at various ages would be valuable for most educators. It is important that educators acquire additional information beyond what can be included in this textbook in order to come to an effective understanding of how learners are influenced by human development. The references mentioned in the Annotated Bibliography are good sources of information.
